Mission: To love people in our backyard with the heart & hands of Jesus, and to communicate local ministry opportunities with the Ebenezer church family.

We Focus on Three Main Areas:

Prayer warriors
School events/School teams
Outreach events (Inner-city Durham, Fields of Faith, Billy Newton Wrestling)
Donation Needs & Opportunities (ongoing throughout year)
Family Emergency Needs
Safe Families (Host Homes, Family Friends, Resource Family, Life Skill Teachers, Family Coaches, Mentor Ladies)
Other local opportunities (assist widows, shut-ins, wheelchair ramps, etc.)
Teach Reading & Tutoring Opportunities

Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few.
Therefore, pray to Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest" Matthew 9: 37-38

At Breaker Rock Beach, kids will learn to recognize the difference between what the world says is true and what God says is true. Kids will be challenged to know that God’s truth never changes—even when it’s radically different from what some people say. They’ll discover that God does not want them to be conformed to this age, but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so that they can discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!

The Missions Outreach Team has created an account with the Remind App called Missions & Outreach (very creative, huh?). This remind group will provide mission-minded people easy-to-access Outreach opportunities in our community. This group will also receive praise reports when needs are met through the generous members of EBC! Examples of opportunities to serve in our community may include things like:

• Items needed in our partner ministries like Magnolia House or Pregnancy Support Services

• Support for the work of the social workers within our Orange County Schools

• Support for our FCA leaders, teachers, or coaches in local schools

• Needs for upcoming mission trips or missionaries in the field
