Hope seems eerily elusive these days. But that feeling is not new. A nation was hoping for God to do a miraculous work that would right wrongs and restore joy. However, this is not a time to give up, but to redirect our attention. An earthly ruler is not the answer. The One prophesied by Isaiah in Isaiah 9:6-7 is where hope resides.
