To leave on a journey with the possibility of not returning elevates a sense of urgency in our final conversation. When Paul is heading back to Jerusalem, he has some critical information for his Ephesian church friends. They are solemn, yet encouraging words that teach us what we must remember in pursuing the life of a difference-maker.

Communication involves messaging. How many times do you check your phone for messages in a week, a day, or an hour? Messaging is important. Our politicians, businesses, churches, and families use messaging to communicate what matters. Paul had some messaging to share with the early churches, even to the detriment of someone falling out of a window. (there’s more to the story)
