"Summer Ministry Reports"
September 15, 2024
We are living in one of the craziest times in history! The volatility existing reminds us that our mission as a group of Christ-followers is extraordinarily important. To say that God did some amazing things during this last year is an understatement. From our involvement in West Virginia with Living River Chapel, the ministry in Armenia, and encounters during Last Fridays in Hillsborough, and Family Fun Fest, God has opened doors for Gospel conversations.

"The Response of Worship"
September 8, 2024
Pastor Michael Breeding
We live in a world where responding has never been easier, thanks to technology. But what happens when we fail to respond—especially to God? In this sermon, we'll explore the heart of worship as a response to God's holiness, our own sin, His forgiveness, and His commands. Using Isaiah 6:1-8, we'll uncover how true worship is more than just music; it's a lifestyle. Join us as we learn how to start responding to His greatness in every area of our lives.

"In Alignment"
September 1, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
Did you know that there were very few churches existing in the years following the resurrection of Jesus? Yet, at the same time, there was an explosion of new believers that, by faith, trusted Him for salvation. Incredibly, the early chaos church growth did not implode the church, but instead, led to churches radically impacting their cities and communities. How could this be?
That’s Sunday’s topic for discussion. Why don’t you join us this Labor Day weekend for a celebration of God’s word and work for both then and now? Free coffee is available at 10:00am and our service begins at 10:30am. We want YOU to be here!

MELTDOWN SERIES
"The Aversion to Diversion"
August 25, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
Illusion and diversion were not foreign to early followers of Christ. If I heard it once, I’ve heard it a thousand time: “Keep your eye on the ball.” Why? The answer is simple: if you don’t, the likelihood of hitting it diminishes quickly. Paul had the same message for believers as he wrote and traveled to the early church.
This week, we’ll examine the believer’s response to a world that seems to be experiencing a meltdown. Come, join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we unlock the treasure of God’s Word to the Thessalonians.

"The Resolve to be Missional"
August 18, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
Conflict is nothing new in this world. It can be frustrating, even hurtful, to endure, and sometimes leaves emotional scars that hinder our life’s purpose or mission. A conflict arose in the early church that required time, grace, and forgiveness to resolve. It’s a case study in missional living. Why don’t you join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we peer in on a meltdown that could have sidelined early church leaders and halted a movement?

"The Right to be Angry"
August 11, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
Meltdowns are a product of emotion. Believing we are made in the image of God, is it really okay to be angry? The characteristics of a follower of Christ doesn’t often include this emotion.
As we continue our four-week series called “Meltdown,” we’ll gain some insight on this explosive emotion and how it is woven into our DNA. Join us at 10:30am this Sunday in this excursion through God’s Word.

"Surviving a Meltdown"
August 4, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
Frustration. Loneliness. Fear. Anxiety. These emotions are a normal part of life, yet they can paralyze and isolate us, causing us to question our very purpose for living. Elijah had seen God work in incredible, miraculous ways, but still found himself drowning in emotion.
In this four-week series called “Meltdown,” we’ll examine some principles that will help us navigate those difficult days that threaten our joy. Join us at 10:30am this Sunday in this new journey through God’s Word.

QUESTIONS JESUS ASKED SERIES
"Do You Believe?"
July 28, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
We live in a world of conflicting reports. Because information comes to us at breakneck speed, we often succumb to the first byte of news only to endure errant reports or endless corrections. On a very normal day, Jesus restored the sight of a man. Controversy ensued and witnesses were summoned. Some could see the truth, others could not. You are invited to join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we conclude our summer series with an eye-opening encounter. We hope to see you Sunday!

QUESTIONS JESUS ASKED SERIES
"What Would You Do?"
July 21, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
Have you ever experienced loss? Everyone has to some degree. Some losses are more devastating, such as a death or an estranged friendship. Other losses are temporary and sometimes funny. The person that places their keys in the refrigerator or sunglasses on top of one’s head bring a chuckle.
Loss is real. As we continue examining “Questions Jesus Asked,” in the Gospels, we will look at three realistic stories that places us right in the middle of the action. Come join us this Sunday at 10:30am in the continuation of our summer series. We hope to see you Sunday!

QUESTIONS JESUS ASKED SERIES
"Is God Fair?"
July 14, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
Have you ever played the game "Would You Rather?" For instance, would you rather find a rat in your kitchen or a roach in your bed? What about live in a treehouse or in a cave? The endless possibilities can be thought-provoking, silly, or just plain gross.
What about this question: Would you rather God be fair or merciful? We instinctively might choose fair, but... that's what we will explore this Sunday in the continuation of our summer series "Questions Jesus Asked."

QUESTIONS JESUS ASKED SERIES
"The Gift of Unexpected Action"
July 7, 2024
Pastor Bob Sipper
I didn’t expect that! When someone does something unexpected for us, we experience a sense of gratitude. Yet, when someone doesn’t come through when expected, it can disturb our peace, cause bitterness, and generate anger. In one of the most epic scenes described in the Bible, Jesus shares a passover meal with his disciples and explains the purpose of his pending arrest, trial, and death. But even more pointed is his display while honoring those at the table with one act.
You are invited to join us this Sunday at 10:30am (café at 10:00am) when we celebrate the Lord’s Supper and examine another of Jesus’ questions. We are looking forward to seeing you!
